Tasting Notes
"The aroma of the rum is alcohol-forward carrying notes of funky cooked ripe bananas, raisins, and caramelized pineapple. On the palate the rum delivers flavors of chewy vanilla, ripe bananas, grassy cane, with a strong undertone of anise. Baking spices help flatten the anise note causing the caramelized banana flavors to surge to the forefront. As they fade notes of copper, charcoal, and vegetal cane dance with the banana flavor in a mineral rich finish. "
