Reviewed June 6, 2026 (edited June 13, 2026)Has that Jamaican funk aroma, along with tropical fruits and cinnamon. Tastes of hogo, naturally, front and center. Includes tropical fruits, particularly overripe banana, cinnamon. Definite alcohol burn. Finish is a combination of overripe banana & artificial banana flavor. Since the alcohol heat is a bit much, I dud a scotch trick and added two drops of water. That brought out new aromas of caramel, whiffs of marshmallow & cinnamon. Flavors remained similar, particularly [fermented?] banana, but the heat is tempered. Naturally, this goes great as a mixer if you're looking for a Jamaican flair. Reviewed August 4, 2022 (edited February 19, 2026)Medium amber colour. Intense rich nose of banana peel, toasted spices and raisins. Complex with tones of woodwork and malted grain. Round attack with lots of spices and medicinal herbs. Almost like a bitter with its punchy alcohol, but over a softer body. Incredible length and depth and certainly not for the weak of heart. A rustic, artisanal but interesting Rhum with good notes from the oloroso wood. Pricey, but worth it.100.0 USD per BottleOslo
