    Brilliant deep straw to light golden. Not really pale. Intense nose of apple, pear, flowers, cold pineapple and light peach over cool rainwet rock. Medium bodied textured attack. Fruit forward with elegant apples and mineral texture. Light orange zest. Dry, but smooth and with good length. No overdriven oak or spices, really transparent and refreshing.     Soft semi sweet corn and butter nose with baked apple background. Medium attack with a good firm middle with light oak tannins. Good length and balance. Not too interesting, but a pleasing malt driven drink

    Incredible depth and concentration. Smooth, but with a rustic finish. Deep with layers of Apple, citrus over deep raisin and spicy plum. No oaky stuff, just pure deep fruit and greatness

    More pale than expected. Coconut and vanilla oak. Sweet spices and hints of honey corn. Simple. Smooth and spicy with too much vanilla and woodwork. Pretty low concentration and character.

    Medium amber colour. Intense rich nose of banana peel, toasted spices and raisins. Complex with tones of woodwork and malted grain. Round attack with lots of spices and medicinal herbs. Almost like a bitter with its punchy alcohol, but over a softer body. Incredible length and depth and certainly not for the weak of heart. A rustic, artisanal but interesting Rhum with good notes from the oloroso wood. Pricey, but worth it.

    Medium honey amber. Round nose of wood lacquer, honey, corn and paint thinner. Not so appealing. Oily and very smooth. Almost none present on the attack. Very round vanilla end with slight wood tannins. More like a Rhum. Smooth, boring and very disappointing. Extremely pricey

    Light amber. Darker colour. Rich and round aroma of toffee, caramel, roasted malt and corn with hints of wood lacquer. Honey and vanilla oak. Full bodied and quite chewy with lots of caramel and a really explosive middle with chocolate and espresso notes. Nice bite without becoming too aggressive or thin. Sweet and round finish with a really nice texture. This is a great buy. Wow!

    Medium deep golden brilliant colour. Round and quite intense aroma of vanilla wafers and wood lacquer. Burnt barley and spicy curd. Sweet, but woody aroma. Soft attack with a touch of sweetness and vanilla. Followed by great warmth and some firmness. The notes of cream cake become apparent in the second sniff. Approachable and well rounded with good identify, but lacking in the middle and some length at this price point.
