Hayman's Old Tom Gin
Old Tom Gin
Hayman's // England
Using old family recipes and a copper pot-still named Marjorie (after the current chairman's mother), the Hayman range captures the different and popular styles of gins throughout history. Distilled from 100% grain, steeped with botanicals before distillation, and sweetened with sugar, their reproduction of the classic 18th century Old Tom Gin is no exception.
The botanical blend includes juniper, coriander, lemon peel, orange peel, angelica root, cinnamon, cassia bark, orris root, licorice, and nutmeg. It's bottled at 40% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"Sweet spices and floral aromas are found as you smell Hayman's Old Tom Gin. It is soft on your palate as the sugar has rounded out the edges and tamed the juniper. The floral note comes back, but it is not intrusive. With a slightly sweet finish, there isn't much bitter to be had. Drink recommendations? Martinez or a Tom Collins."
