Smooth as silk

A bit sharp at first with almost a hint of spice normally associated with a rye. Nice woody oak finish. To be honest, the finish is better than the first taste. It’s ok neat, but is better with a splash of water or on the rocks.

Really smooth!

I have a really wide spectrum of tastes I like. There haven’t been many bottles that I regret buying. This is one of them. To me, this is one note and that note is black pepper. I love good burn in bourbon but it needs to be balanced with some sweet. This is not my jam. Wish I’d have spent the $ on another bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel instead.
