Heaven Hill Bottled In Bond 7 Year

Fantastic bourbon. Clear orange mahoghany. Chocolate-covered cherries, oranges, cinnamon stick, vanilla, pine rosin, Chinese five-spice. No heat on the nose. Good length; pleasant, gentle burn on the back end. Delicious: great combination of flavor and proof. Not available in CT; would buy a case on sight if it were. Sadly, just finished my first of two bottles. Tasted in Glencairn glass.

Very average. I was expecting more due to the hype and it’s allocated status. Nose was decent, flavor was decent but nothing outstanding or that made an impression. Short finish with no kick.

Mmm mm sweet! Caramel, long finish that pleases the roof of the mouth. This is an all-night sipper!

Viscous with oak, leather, dough, and nuts.
