The cask is a French Oak Australian ex-port cask, and the whisky follows Hellyers Roads norm of being non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes
"Beginning with a slightly warm astringent treacle, acetonal spice and golden raisins slowly move across with cinnamon, soft stone fruits, and dark chocolate complimenting the aforementioned spice. On the tongue, the same cinnamon spice runs thick with almonds, heavy treacle rolling through to coat the mouth and sinuses. Very thick and puckering. The stone fruits repeat as they are dusted lightly with spices. The finish is long and moves across the palate, subtly spiced the whole way with toast and slight smoke moving in towards the end."
