For this bottling, Gracie was inspired by the rugged Ayrshire coast of southwest Scotland which is just two miles away from Hendrick's Gin Palace. Neptunia is "infused with a blend of coastal botanicals and a crisp citrus finish," according to the brand.

Modern GinAlso has been referred to as "Contemporary", "New Western", "New Wave", and "New American". This style is not legally defined. In general, this category of gin, while it does contain juniper, places less of an emphasis on this botanical. Other botanicals not classically used in London Dry gins are often utilized and often highlight botanicals grown in the region the gin is produced. Most produced as either London Dry or Distilled Gins.
Tasting Notes
"The aroma is filled with spices like coriander and peppercorn along with hearty earthy root notes and citrus peel. Juniper is mild to moderate here. Moving on to the taste, again it's much more spiced like cinnamon, coriander and less of a bright vegetal and floral note that the original Hendrick's brings. Less of a light summery gin an more of an autumn or winter gin in terms of overall flavors which, keeping the climate of the Scottish coast in mind, makes sense. "
