On the nose, it has caramel, vanilla, and oak.
For the palate, it holds the caramel but lost the vanilla. It gains a cinnamon like flavor which goes well with the heat of this whiskey.
The finish is oily and rather long.

Tasted blind at a friend's house.
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes.
Color: Medium amber.
Nose: Caramel, toffee, butterscotch.
Palate: Fruit, cinnamon, oak.
Finish: Long length with medium heat.
Splash: Clove notes appear and mix with the oak.
Overall: 8.5/10 - The fruity note in the palate is intriguing. This isn't hot, but drinks above it's proof.
Drinks hotter than expected for the proof. Other than that, all positives for me. On the rocks. Nice combination of the flavors I enjoy most in bourbon—sweet, caramel, butterscotch, oak. Yum. Got from a VAABC drop.
