Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Dried fruit on the nose, cherries. Deep caramel on the palate. Relatively long finish

Aroma: alcohol, oak, a little burnt sugar, leather Palate: hotter than two rats fuckin in a wool sock on a tin roof, even with a splash of water, oak, a little caramel, corn, a hint of rye I’m honestly not that into it. The quality is definitely there, just not really blowing my skirt up.

Good sipper. Vanilla is obvious and smooth. Mint and/or methanol favor is interesting and provides an added “spicy” kick. I like this better than Four Roses Single Barrel.
