Mixes great in a Boulevardier

Nose: Vanilla, Oak, Cherry, Leather Taste: See nose. Nearly identical. Finish: Medium and warming. Vanilla and brown sugar. Super generic bourbon nose and taste. If you told me this was a 4 or 5 year bourbon I'd most definitely believe you. Not as smooth as I would expect. It's not bad but nothing to write home about.

This is my favorite bourbon at the moment. Under 30.00 a bottle and the flavors are as well rounded as much more expensive bourbons. Wonderful to sip neat and you don’t feel bad about making mixed drinks with it.

very little nose. dramatically different flavor - spicy like rye but without the burn. really enjoy this as a neat sipping bourbon. gonna take home a bottle with water, blah.slight butterscotch. prefer neat will buy one of these
