Herradura Reposado Double Barrel Select, (Barrel 3202 /picked on 4-8-2022 / Bottle 232) is an elegant, Agave Spirit by the Herradura Distillery in Lowland, Mexico. It is a hand crafted, double distilled in pot stills & aged for 11 months in new, lightly charred, American white oak barrels; then transferred to a virgin oak barrel for an additional month before being bottled at 80 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, fruit, wood, herbs & spices; while a rich & complex life adds notes of roasted agave, toasted oak, citrus, banana, apple, clove, vanilla & allspice; that leads to a balanced death of medium length with a hint of fruit cake, honey & white pepper.
