Tasting Notes
"There's no mistaking the oak influence on Hidden River Gin. Though light in color, the fragrance of fresh cut wood comes through on the aroma. It's oaky on the palate, too, though with more wood than vanilla sweetness. The juniper competes for prominence with the flavors contributed by the barrel, which may be a little too strong. It may hold crossover appeal for whiskey drinkers, and could show well in a gin Old Fashioned or similar preparation."
