Lee Spirits Barreled Gin
Barrel-Aged Gin
Lee Spirits Co. // Colorado, USA
The Lee’s are keen on keeping the old-style of gin alive with traditional dry gin and a speakeasy-style bar called Brooklyn’s on Boulder St. That said they have also created a barrel-aged gin.
They do not disclose how long the gin is aged on the label. This is a review of batch 1.

Tasting Notes
"An under the radar charmer. The wood is assertive by taking over the whole spirit with aromas of sandalwood, honey, and vanilla. The spirit also contributes rosemary and juniper to the party. There’s a large amount of vanilla on the palate but it doesn’t drown the pine resin, honey, and bitter tea. This would do well in a Horse’s Neck cocktail instead of brandy or whiskey."
