High West Campfire (Discontinued)

It's called campfire, it smells like a campfire, and it tastes like a campfire. If you've ever poured water over a campfire's dying embers to put it out, the steam that comes off is what this tastes like. Think the burning of Alexandria's library from Spaceship Earth. Having said all that, this isn't a bad whiskey, and certainly it gives the palate something that can't be mistaken for anything else on the liquor store shelves. I tip my hat to High West for the uniqueness of this whiskey, but it's probably not one I would choose to drink on the regular.

Just didn’t care for this character-unique aroma and flavor.

There is a lot going on here! Peat outweighs the spice and fruit for me. But complex and fun to drink. #WWD

Awful plastic taste. The Scotch ruins a perfectly good whiskey.
