High Country is an American single malt distilled entirely in Utah by High West Distillery. It is unfiltered and finished in part in oloroso sherry barrels.
Also, unlike the previous two releases in 2019 and 2020, there is no peated whiskey in the release. Additionally, this will be released nationwide rather than be limited to Utah as of December 3, 2021.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is nutty, offering peanuts drizzled with salted caramel in front of sweet dried fruits. The palate is somewhat astringent at first thanks to the presence of tannic oak, before opening up into vanilla, plums, and herbal-infused honey. A short finish offers toffee, leather, dark roasted coffee, black pepper, and spearmint."
