BLIND: Could not tell this was a rye at all until i got a little spice adding water!
Nose: light oak. A little alcohol-y.
Palate: light and very little burn. Almost like a really light honey type feel.
Finish: very short light burn on the back of the tongue.
Water?: no. The water took it to even less burn and brought out a little spice.
Nose of roses, burnt pineapple and fired beef crust. Enjoied at Round Robin bar at the Willard. Taste profile subsides too quickly unfortunately. Taste is way too alcohol forward, with insufficient peat and general blandness.
