Highland 2007 12 Year Single Malt (Deer, Bear & Moose)

2023 Flaviar Advent Calendar - day 24 👃: fruity, caramel, and cinnamon notes 👅: herbal, woody, and pepper notes with a hint of chocolate 🏁: really smooth, just ever so slightly oaky

Nose: sweet, apple cider, Palatte: herbal, some spice Finish: brine, vanilla

Clear amber body thick legging. Spicy fruit toffee bready aroma. Bready toffee spicy fruit flavor. Medium light body moderately low warming. 8/3/9/5/17 4.2

Despite a rich body, the flavors make the whiskey feel light. Sweet fruit, grapes and apple, some vanilla as well. Not what I'm usually after in a highland, but still nicely made. 4

A very nice scotch and one I will keep on the top shelf. Nice and smooth with wonderful flavors on the backside. I am trying this thru a Flaviour tasting package so details on age and cost are not truly at hand but the app requires those fields to have something entered. Please amend at needed for accuracy.
