"Along with a bit of dried fruit, there's a harmonious combination of maple sweet and a brininess to the dram though the intensity of it all is moderate. A sweet smokiness continues on the palate with a little tropical fruit making an appearance. The whisky finishes with cigar ash and peanut shells. Water could be added here making a more creamy texture, but is perfectly enjoyable without. "
