Hill Billy Rye Whiskey

A complex 95% rye Whiskey distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana & Bottled in South Carolina. It has a delicate birth with notes of oatmeal cooky dough, spicy wood, a hint of corn & vanilla; while a medium bodied & balanced life adds notes of vanilla & caramel; that led to a long & intense death with warming notes of spice & toasted rye. Smells and tastes like a prune. Ok I may have added too much ice. Second try was better straight, though a little hot. Has the rye spice

Mash 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley. Color Golden Honey, Aroma oak and honey, Taste Rye Spice hints of honey and vanilla, Finish is smooth and warm, balanced rye spices.
