Reviewed December 6, 2022Eye: very light hue pushing to the yellow and orange side. Nose: vanilla, salted peanut on the nose. Palette: vanilla, brown sugar and honey with a peanut butter cookie finish. Little bite that is short and midway through. Very light on the tongue and far less thick than I expected for a 12 year. There is a dryness to the finish that feels like biting into an apple. -

Reviewed December 4, 2022 (edited January 28, 2023)Good full flavor, on the thicker side. I'd prefer a little more vanilla cream to rate this higher. A little burn drinking neat. I feel the burn on the front and back of the tongue. Probably really good on ice.55.0 USD per BottleLawndale Market -

Reviewed November 20, 2022 (edited December 2, 2022)Nice change from my usual bourbon. Really enjoyed it. Light taste on the palette but with a viscous mouthfeel and medium/long finish probably due to the 12 year age.69.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed September 18, 2022 (edited December 10, 2022)Batch no. 1. Nose of orange, vanilla, green apple, bell pepper, white pepper, melon, maple syrup, cake icing and oak. Very smooth, a bit candy-like on the palate, with flavors of green apple jolly ranchers, maple syrup, vanilla, wedding cake and icing. Somewhat short, but sweet, finish. Pretty solid and easy drinking. -

Reviewed August 15, 2022Very easy drinking low proof with a strawberry cheesecake dessert lasting flavor. Picked this up after seeing it on The Terminal List. Between it and other veteran bourbon Horse Soldier I’d still take their cask strength or single barrel but this was a good buy
