Hooten Young 12 Year American Whiskey (Batch No. 1)

This is really good. Glad I didn’t pass it up. Really get a ton of apple and fruit on the nose and pallet. The finish is nice for a 92 proof.

Nose sweet, caramel and tropical fruits. Tastes like a smooth whiskey, a little more of a tobacco rich taste but not a long finish. Definitely would drink again.

Nose is sweet, sweet corn, hints of orangey tropical fruits, banana, and more corn. Flavor is unique for me...the corn notes are still prevalent, but there's a sticky sweetness...a cross between caramel and butterscotch, some apple notes, and finishes with an important dose of young wood that levels the playing field. Palate is light on it's feet and a very easy drinker.

Nose is fruity, get bubble gum, apple, and agave on the palate. Suprised by this one, didn't have any expectations and was plesently drawn in by it's unique flavor

3.90. corn, vanilla and custard notes. Would make an excellent old fashioned.
