Horse Soldier Signature Small Batch Bourbon

Umami (meaty) and a bit of cherry cola on the nose. Palate is smooth, with vanilla and a bit of spiciness, transitioning to a mustiness (sawdust?) with a hint of the cola returning. Drinkable pour, but nothing stands out. Bottle now says made and bottled in Ohio. When will the Somerset, Ky. distillery be completed?

Oak and cherry on the nose with some cola. Great taste and great finish. Between the taste and the story behind this bourbon there will always be a bottle of this on my shelf

It’s ok. Will probably use it more for cocktails than neat or rocks.
