Strong forward that lingers

Agreeing with the basic profile with some differences. Love the fact that its a readily available 15yr at a very reasonable price (well under 100). Great for those who want balanced age statemented whiskey in a beautiful bottle. N: Light with oak notes of vanilla and subtle orange peel towards the back P: Spicier than noted but def. Rich with vanilla and baking spices. Notes of orange towards back like the nose rolling into finish with more vanilla. F: vanilla and caramel as well as baking spice roll on through into the sunset.

A drinkable, inoffensive 3-4 star bourbon in a five star bottle...considering how long bottles stay on my shelf that counts for a lot. Buy it if you see it in the $40-50 range.

Strong oak and vanilla aroma. Baking spices and dark chocolate, vanilla is always there. Oily mouthfeel. Cinnamon spice finish.
