I.W. Harper 15 Year Bourbon

Crisp and well balanced

Nose has vanilla, rubbing alcohol, bananas, brown sugar, and oak. One of my favorite bourbon noses of all time. The palate has wood-dry oak, rye spice, some slightly burnt brown sugar, a faint hint of the bananas on the nose. The flavors are well-balanced, rich and delightful. This is definitely one of my top 5 bourbons, probably even top 3.

Very sweet to me

Very smooth with a light finish

Just tried this over the holidays and this is a great bourbon! The nose is absolutely packed with fruit and the finish has a nice bit of heat and oak with a bit of caramel at the end. It was fantastic served neat and didn’t need water/ice like some of its similarly priced competitors.
