sweet and vanilla and slight burn

Very mild drop this one. As JC notes green apple comes through, bit of honey / mapple. Hint of citrus and brine. Not a bad drop but nothing special...good palate cleanser after the sweet rum I had prior. Solid 3.25

This whisky starts off on a bad note with a sulfurous element to the nose that's very difficult to get past. Once you do however, you encounter touches of maple and apple. The palate is a little bland but fruity, though the finish is actually quite good and lengthy. It's alright.
