Reviewed June 25, 2021 (edited July 11, 2021)I get the port influence on the nose as well as vanilla. Fairly sweet with caramel, dark chocolate, and fruit. Very smooth, with only the slightest hint of spice and maybe a whiff of oak. The finish is short and dry. Not a bad sip, but I would rank this below some of the other finished bourbons I've tried, like Rabbit Hole Daringer and Angel's Envy. It's also a bit cheaper, so it's a trade off. -

Reviewed June 5, 2021 (edited October 5, 2021)The dude at the liquor store was right: it's really good. It's delicious, truly. I just wish it didn't have the "pioneer spirit" going there. I didn't notice that before I bought it. How many native people did Isaac Bowman kill? What did he think about the native people here on this land? Was he just another settler taking the homes of native people?
