Reviewed July 21, 2021 (edited August 20, 2022)The port finish puts this on the dessert side for me, but it’s not overwhelmingly sweet. Competent, if not particularly impressive, pour. -

Reviewed July 18, 2021Color: Light honey brown. Nose: Some kerosene and fuel oil notes on the nose. Slight sulfur on top of the sweet base. Slight clover honey. Marzipan and treacle. Water expands on the sulfury note. Vague scent of saltwater fen. Mouth: Warming spice. Baking spice. Cinnamon and brown sugar. Allspice and cloves. Short sweet finish. Tastes rye heavy. Water brings out tobacco notes. Conclusion: Not for me as a sipper. Likely to make a fantastic cocktail or two. Moderate complexity. Cocktails: Tried in a mint julep. Not bad. -
