Reviewed July 11, 2021 (edited November 3, 2021)Had this neat. The nose has a little heat, even though the proof is low. The port finish encapsulates the mouth feel and delivers the flavor and spice to the finish, which is excellent. Tried with a little ice, and it broke down, due to proof. Was looking for something a little different and this is a great option. -

Reviewed June 25, 2021 (edited July 11, 2021)I get the port influence on the nose as well as vanilla. Fairly sweet with caramel, dark chocolate, and fruit. Very smooth, with only the slightest hint of spice and maybe a whiff of oak. The finish is short and dry. Not a bad sip, but I would rank this below some of the other finished bourbons I've tried, like Rabbit Hole Daringer and Angel's Envy. It's also a bit cheaper, so it's a trade off.
