Isaac Bowman Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels

Nose: surprised by some spearmint Palate: little funkiness that I can’t place, red wine on the back end Finish: little thin and drying, which I think is the port coming through Overall: It’s okay. I’m not sure I’d be quick to restock this bottle.

For under 50, this one is pretty tasty. I wasn't sure about the port barrel finish. I typically dont care for fruity sweet tasting bourbons. This one will probably never be a daily for me, but i think it has earned alway on the shelf. As always, had it neat

Nose: Immediate presence of the port, dark fruit and oak. Palate: Jammy, brown sugar, vanilla, and oak. Overall: Excellent for the price point. I love port finsihed products and will be buying this frequently.
