An intense, Single Malt Scotch from Islay, Scotland aged for a minimum of 10 years. It has an aromatic birth with notes of peat, smoke & spices; while a bold life adds notes of iodine, seaweed & salinity; that led to a long & peaty death. October 2019 / 2020 / September / November 2022

Definite smoky peat ro start and pepper on finish. Lighter and smooth on palate.

Tasting Methodology: Neat in a Canadian Glencarin glass. Rested 10 minutes. Nose: cherry sherry, wispy smoke , walnuts  Mouthfeel: neutral Palate: cinnamon christmas basket, citrus Finish: pepper  Rating: 5/5 Price paid: $45 Value rating: 10/10 Overall Notes: zero faults. smoothest tamed peaty 10 Would I get again? As a smooth tamed 10, yes
