FIRKIN gin was released in 2015 by the Gleann Mór Spirits Company, known for their independent bottlings of single malt Scotch whiskies. Islay Rested FIRKIN Gin is a limited edition release that begins with a base spirit infused with botanicals, including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, and orris root, which are then distilled four times.
This gin is then matured for a short period in American oak casks previously used to aged whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. This gin is then bottled at 46% ABV.
