J.P. Trodden // Washington, USA
Mark Nesheim founded J.P. Trodden Distilling and named it after his grandfather, who was a mailman during the prohibition, delivering letters between the US and Canada (but also carried a bottle or two of brown liquor in his mail bag). J.
P. Trodden wasn't a bootlegger, just a man who enjoyed spirits and was happy to share some with friends during the long dry spell of the prohibition. Each batch is hand crafted using local grains from a small family farm in Quincy, Washington. This is an American spirit with not only the ingredients going into the bourbon coming from the US, but the equipment to brew it as well, all sourced from Washington, Oregon, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
