Killer for the price

A good daily sipper! The mid palate is primarily caramel and roasted peanuts. On the finish I get bits of spearmint and eucalyptus which is very interesting!

Nice nuttiness that comes with heaven hill. Certainly worth lower price, apparently tough to find outside of Kentucky

I received this as a gift and tried it neat without knowing anything about it. The overwhelming oak blew me away on the first sip. Another taste or two and the pallette opens up a bit more into cacoa and leather with a lasting sweetness. I wouldn't make it a daily sipper, but I'll probably throw it in my next blind tasting to see if the screw top was an initial bias.

Affordable drinker, with the quality of Bottled-In-Bond. The corner stone flavors show through here, vanilla, caramel, and oak. Finish is easy.
