This to me, the flavor and finish take on a style more like a Bourbon Whiskey rather than a typical Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey. However, on the nose, there’s no mistaking that this is a Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Jack Daniel’s pumps out large quantities of whiskey every year to satisfy the consumer which can mean lower quality whiskey; but this definitely is a quality whiskey that they make strictly for the customer (not the consumer, there is a difference). This is the best Jack Daniel’s whiskey I’ve had and as a customer, I really appreciate it. Although pricey it’s worth-it to me as a once in a while sipping whiskey with a splash of water or have it Frank’s way (three rocks, two fingers, one splash of water). With the packaging and the nice looking bottle, this makes a beautiful gift as well.
