RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is filled with spiced banana bread with walnuts and brown butter. There's a light char smoke throughout with a moderate amount of oak and dark maple flavors. The body of the whiskey is average and while a touch sweet on the tongue, those flavors turn dry and hearty with a bitter, tangy flavor. The finishing barrel is quite influential bringing the whiskey to a close with char smoke, toasty oak, and barrel spices. At the same time, it's not too chewy or dry with too many tannins. "
