James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Bourbon (100 Proof) Brown Label

It’s so sweet and easy to drink. Great dessert bourbon. Good with s’mores :)

It has a metallic finish to it. Not sure if it’s from the 100 proof or how it was aged.

Honey and floral on the nose. Oak and leather with a continued light floral. Decent burn throughout. The finish has a nice linger with a char and the slightest hint of Roses. Ice cube doesn’t change anything. Not bad for the price.

A good solid week night bourbon. I only drink it Monday thru Thursday. Never on Friday, oh God no.
