Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition

Best with ginger ale.

Nose: hops, floral, lemon, grapefruit, green apple,honeydew melon, icing sugar, caramel. Sharp orange juice. Taste: light hops and honeysuckle with a background of butter cookies and apple. Heavy hops and pine are quick to take over with marshmallows and bright unripe citrus. Ends with an oaky honey. If you dislike hops and IPAs stay away but if you don’t mind it makes for an interesting flavor

An interesting taste. You can definitely smell the IPA bitterness, but just a bit. Taste is clearly Jameson but has an interesting aftertaste that isn’t quite IPA and not quite Irish whisky but a blend of the two and I get a nice spice on the finish that isn’t evident in regular Jamo. I like it.

Very heavy ipa taste, smell is subtle. Slightly hoppy and sweet. Would recommend, but many whiskey drinkers will not like this
