Jeffers Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon

I really wanted to enjoy this. Starts strong and finishes hot. Probably be mixing the rest.

Light, sweet corn, lacks complexity, easy sipper at $20, but aged at 6 yrs apparently I’m feeling it. Not stocking shelves but I’d return to it from time to time.

Ethanol and peanuts on the nose? Palate is very basic, some caramel. Thin with a pale beige color. Considerable burn on the finish. Solid workhouse bourbon for those on a budget. Would be a good mixer. I wouldn’t expect much more than that.

Simple inexpensive Kentucky straight bourbon. Perfect for everyday drinking. Not as bad as ‘experts’ would have you believe.
