This is a sourced, straight Kentucky bourbon that was initially matured in traditional new, charred oak. As a tribute to the brand's namesake, President Thomas Jefferson, a known oenophile, the bourbon is given an additional maturation in ex-Pichon Barron French Bordeaux wine casks as well as toasted French oak staves.
It is bottled at 90 proof. .
