This New York Edition is made like other Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea bottlings meaning that it was also composed of bourbon barrels which traveled through ports around the world. But in this case, after the barrels made it to its final port, they were then sent to Manhattan to be proofed down using NYC water.
This special edition will be made available at local NYC retailers and on-premise accounts beginning November 2022. .

"There is a suitably Big Apple themed aroma profile, with prominent notes of fresh and baked apples, caramel, cinnamon, clove, and cocoa. A distinct flavor of caramel and coffee (tawfee) lands on the palate with a big hit of clove and cinnamon. The weight is rich and viscous, with some flavors of freshly roasted nuts (the kind they used to sell from streetcarts) and milk chocolate leading into a weighty finish. "
