Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 23

Aroma- oaky, vanilla, spice. Nicely balanced. Taste- medium bodied. Taste has more Carmel and vanilla. Some spice… touch of cherry. The oak is secondary here but that is okay bc the vanilla is really shining through. Heat was present on first couple of sips but dissipates quickly after that. Adding a few drops of water is recommend to speed up the process of mellowing out the heat and allowing that vanilla to shine through.

Hints of cherry, cinnamon and some bubble gum on the nose. Smooth drinking bourbon with little burn.

So smooth.

Nose: a bit earthy with strong vanilla and a background of cherry and orange creamsicle Taste: lots of cherry syrup, a bit like a lollipop. Faint oak background Finish: long earthy bitterness finish, not much burn. Is that apple I sense, too?

Nice...perfect for a sipping whiskey. It has a nice lengthy finish that adds pleasure to the drink.
