Jefferson's 16 Year Presidential Select Twin Oak

2nd pour, just passing the neck.

So silky on the palate, sweet and savory oak, extremely drinkable and delicious.

This one continues to grow on me. Love the nose and the initial taste…and then right at the end I get an overpowering oak finish (twin oak I know). If you could dial that back a notch or two it would be great.

Pleasant nose hits of a superior whiskey Oak, vanilla, caramel everything one can want in a bourbon nothing the slightest bit negative, just smooth and sweet 5/5 Palate follows through mirroring the nose, a really good pour, delicious, proof is surprisingly well chosen and not too low filling my mouth as a good whiskey should 5/5 Finish 4.5/ 5 Overall a great pour / so very well done/ exceeded my expectations ...wonder what is said to be the source of the juice????
