Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon

Full start, tart finish with slight fruit in between

Buttery maybe. There is a smoky flavor that is elusive, but certainly there.

Classic bourbon notes that coat the mouth well. My rating may be biased because it was the celebratory pour after my sister’s engagement with my brother-in-law and father, but it doesn’t matter. Still a great bourbon with a special significance now!

Very sweet and fruity with a medicinal note. Refreshing on the rocks, not my favorite neat.

I found this very good. Sweet at front and smooth finish. I guess that’s why there are so many to try.

I enjoyed this on a tasting session and I got the oak, cinnamon and maple syrup. Need to explore more. Looking forward to purchasing a bottle even though it’s a bit pricey.
