Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon

This is wonderful on the rocks- reminds me of Blanton's in a way.

It's excellent. Little steep in the pricing for a Bourbon but as a fan of TJ, I had to try a bottle. So glad I did. Immediately in contention for my favorite KSBW. It's got a faint hint of that baseball glove leather, but plenty of dark cherry and spice. Oaky too. An outstanding balance.

Excellent. Very unique profile. Sweet, herbal, light fruit notes. Very refined. I know they are a NDP, but they masterfully blending some great quality barrels. Very well done.

Nose: nail polish remover, with slight vanillas. Palette: buttery and oily at first. Oak in the middle and finishes with some spice.
