Jeppson's Malört

Alcohol upfront followed by earthy tones of wormwood/dirt. It takes A LOT to get this flavor out of your mouth. Is it as bad as they say? No. But its not much better.

Smell is oakey and sweet and herbal. Taste starts oskey and sweet but ends with intense bitterness.

Light bourbon up front and light Malort finish.

It’s not great but I like bitter things.

Malört, on the other hand, is the real industry shot. Also, goes down much smoother than Fernet. Always a good choice unless you're drinking for taste or want a cocktail or don't want to fight your dad.

Tastes like chemotherapy. Fungal notes with isopropyl alcohol after. My first time I was like oh. That's not as unpleasant as I was expecting. The 2nd time, I'd rather chew on a used cigarette.

Do you know that bitter taste of Campari on the finish with orange and grass? It's that. That's the whole profile and it is beautifully unique.
