Jim Beam Black Label Extra-Aged

Middle of the road. Malted chocolate, caramel corn, almost a cabernet finish.

For 18 bucks it’s hard to find another bourbon in the price range that is this smooth. The sip starts with a strong oaky flavor, a hint of leather and a peppery finish. A simple but good sipper with ice or a splash of water!

Nose is sweet pears and apples. Palate is classic bourbon caramel vanilla and spice Finish is oak spice and medium short. As a budget bourbon it’s good but I probably prefer Buffalo Trace
