John J Bowman Single Barrel Bourbon

Fantastic bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel notes, some baking spices and a touch of orange zest. Great mouth feel, medium finish.

This is smooth. For $50 yea go ahead and buy this. Classic whiskey taste. Not too much in any direction.

It's just a good sipping bourbon, man. Everything you'd want.

One of my go to bourbons. Admittedly it being Virginian influences, but I find it a nice middle of the road with fruit (primarily cherry), spice, and modest vanilla.

Vanilla, caramel, cherry, slight oak

Definatly taste the gala apple hint very smooth

Nose is a little one note. I get a bit of black tea and fruit note. Taste has mostly the same with a light tea note and fruit. It is dry. Vanilla is rather light to not there for me in this barrel.
