I like a good cheap bottle of JW Black, but I was underwhelmed by this. Definitely not worth the price point to me. It tasted like a $75 bottle, not $200.
Nose: dried fruit, sweet wheat biscuit cereal
Taste: strawberries with decent smoke
Finish: medium to long, with a waxy aftertaste

Nose: honey, malt, vanilla, mild fruit. Brown sugar. Mild wood spice, mild smoke and peat elements.
Palate: smooth, honey, light caramel. A light fruitiness and a hint of grain whiskey sweetness.
Finish: short, light tannin, touch of phenols.
Cant properly rate because im not a scotch guy. Im rating it on a bourbon pallete and scale which isnt fair. Id say its very petey (duh) and drinks easy without a flavor i enjoy
