There are a dozen or so different names for it throughout the world, but whatever it is called, it often is turned into lightly sweet to intensely sweet dessert wines.

"The nose is decidedly floral and fruity from the wine finishing on the whisky. The mid-palate is gentle and round with malt, spice, and sweetly toasted cereal. This whisky would make a great apertif to help get the juices flowing. "
