Johnnie Walker Double Black

Nose: peer Flavor: very light, smooth, floral Finish: short, smooth, residual sugar

Price considering, good scotch. Lots of smoke, easy to drink. Would prefer a higher abv... still nice a light and easy to drink smoky scotch.

Not good. Artificial smokiness and chemical aftertaste

Fuller bodied compared to black label with leather and spices on the nose. On the palate, yes it is more rich and smoky but definitely not over the top. I don’t know what the peak level of this is but it is nowhere close to the peat giants of islay. It’s a smooth whisky nevertheless.
